OOTD - Red Sunday (Wednesday Addams inspired outfit)

0
Hi people! Since my street style is running a little late I thought I'd show you what I wore yesterday.
I picked up a vintage dress from Fly To You (a great vintage shop in Daegu), I love it, it reminds me of Wednesday Addams from the Addams family.

I paired this Little Black Dress (LBD) with another vintage find, a red jacket I got from STI CHIC (another store in Daegu) and my Topshop boots, and voila! You have yourself a red Sunday (I was going to name this post Red Wednesday, but I wore this outfit on Sunday and I was born on a Sunday so I thought I'd change it up!)

I love a good LBD simply because of the different ways you can style it! I usually use an LBD as a canvas or backdrop to highlight other things I'm wearing and make them stand out!

Don't forget to hype my look on LookBook!

Scroll down to the end of the post for the reason my Street Style post is late! I have a good reason haha.

OOTD - Baseball and Bananas

Hi guys! I'm back again with an outfit post. I took a short break for Chuseok (추석), my mum came to visit me.

Just when I thought the weather was cooling down in Daegu the atmosphere suddenly sweltered this week.

After my friend and I had a mini photo shoot, a street style photographer asked me for some pictures. The first 4 pictures are by JaeHoon Jeong, check out his website! (http://bit.ly/1pcPChE)

I'm working on a little project for my YouTube channel, stay tuned for more!

OOTD - The Monochrome Look (2)

Hey people! I have another monochrome look for you! I promise the next one shall have some other colour involved haha.

Last time I was in Seoul I ended up at a rooftop party in Myeongdong, it was pretty good but we turned up way too early! Plus I had to leave early as I had to catch the train back to Daegu. However in the short space of time I was there I managed to take a few street style snaps, talk to some amazing people and get these pictures taken by my lovely friend Jina.

Take a look!

P.S. make sure you watch her latest YouTube video, a certain someone got featured in it ;)

I don't know why but all I seem to wear lately is black and/or white. Don't get me wrong I have a plethora of colours in my wardrobe (mostly in my wardrobe back in London) but I just can't seem to stop wearing these two colours on most days. Even as I write this I'm wearing a mandarin collared Thai silk shirt and Topshop Leigh jeans - all black - I just can't seem to help myself!

Lunch at the palace - OOTD

Outside Gyeongbokgung palace, next to the outer building were some cherry blossom trees. That made for the perfect backdrop to an impromptu photo shoot.

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Today was a typical Sunday! We wandered the streets of Daegu after church looking for food and uniquely dressed people. Here's what we found:

This one was taken around Yeongnam University loool.

This is the cutest couple I've seen so far

This guy's classic outfit completely drew me in, the tailored cut and
the way his girlfriend complemented his outfit

Matching jackets ^^

The bucket hat is epic

Style Crush - Duckie

Ladies and gentlemen, a moment of silence for this sweetheart!
If anyone has ever watched Pretty in Pink (1986) you'll recognise the awesomeness of Duckie's style.

Pretty In Pink depicts the life of Andy Walsh, the girl from the 'wrong side of the tracks' - who by the way also has impecable style - and her romance with the 'school prince' Blane. Jon Cryer plays her adorable best friend Duckie, who harbours an unrequited love for our heroine.

What can I say about Duckie's style? For me it's a breath of fresh her that expresses the quirkiness of his character, there's nothing minimalist about this style, he puts together so many different accessories and aesthetics that could come out looking cluttered but on him it's refreshing and innovative (I love this word LOL, I'm going to start using this more). But yeah peep these pictures of Duckie and Andy (because we can't do a post on Pretty In Pink without showing its stylish heroine...I HATED her prom dress though ¬_¬ ).

Loved his prom outfit ^_^

Definite outfit inspiration here yo!

Have a nice day!
