Street Style - Daegu

This cute, understated outfit is all about layers. From the socks over the tights to the extra layer under that adorable doggy sweater this is a cool outfit that is great to wear on days when the weather is mild.

The colder it gets, the more layers we put on. We dust off our cardigans and heavier duty jackets in an attempt to stay warm as the chill sets in.

This couple nails it effortlessly, bringing different prints and materials into the mix.
They've incorporated the matching couple trend into their outfits in the most understated way, with both wearing wool bomber jackets with leather sleeves.

I especially admire the way the girl mixes it up with the houndstooth print of her jacket and her multicoloured sweater, the Union Jack clutch is the cherry on top of the cake, giving an effortlessly put together outfit.

OOTD - Red Sunday (Wednesday Addams inspired outfit)

Hi people! Since my street style is running a little late I thought I'd show you what I wore yesterday.
I picked up a vintage dress from Fly To You (a great vintage shop in Daegu), I love it, it reminds me of Wednesday Addams from the Addams family.

I paired this Little Black Dress (LBD) with another vintage find, a red jacket I got from STI CHIC (another store in Daegu) and my Topshop boots, and voila! You have yourself a red Sunday (I was going to name this post Red Wednesday, but I wore this outfit on Sunday and I was born on a Sunday so I thought I'd change it up!)

I love a good LBD simply because of the different ways you can style it! I usually use an LBD as a canvas or backdrop to highlight other things I'm wearing and make them stand out!

Don't forget to hype my look on LookBook!

Scroll down to the end of the post for the reason my Street Style post is late! I have a good reason haha.

Hello you lovely people! I hope you like the new layout of my blog! There are a couple of things that I want to tweak so I'm still working on it.

The pictures were shot by my friend JaeHoon Jeong, he's a street style photographer, check out his blog!

I styled my lovely new Zara hat with a leather skirt from Choies and a vintage sheer shirt. In hindsight the shirt wasn't a great idea since I didn't bring a jacket and the sun went from giving out gloriously warm rays of light to reminding me that autumn is upon us by disappearing behind the clouds and taking its warmth with it.

I'm a little sad because when I changed my template all the kind messages you left me before have disappeared, but I'm sure you'll be fill my posts with your thoughts and observations in no time! :)
Enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think!

Come to Daegu's downtown area on a Sunday afternoon and you'll notice a variety of looks, ranging from cool vintage to trendy and sporty.

Some of Daegu's residents were adept at mixing textures such as cotton and leather to give a finished look.

Check out my pictures and give me your thoughts!

Which look is your favourite?

Thanks for stopping by!

It's been a long while since my last outfit post so here's another!
I raced to downtown Daegu after church to get my picture taken by JaeHoon Jeong for a street style comptetition he's entering and he was kind enough to send me the pictures afterwards.

Check them out and let me know what you think! Which one is your favourite?

Street Style - Busan

I managed to get myself down to Busan one Friday afternoon to meet up with the resident maverick street style photographer behind the blog Echeveau. Once again we found ourselves strolling along the streets of Busan looking for some well dressed people to shoot. This time we found ourselves in the bustling area of Nampo, just a stones throw away from the famous Jagalchi fish market.

The residents of Busan did not disappoint, we have people who wore unique accessories, died their hair and took Sports Luxe to a whole new level with an appreciation for the Jordans brand.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts!

Fun, flirty, playful and downright stylish. Daegu's residents come out in full force every weekend, mixing and matching everything from colours and patterns, to different materials.
This week the sun beat down on us mercilessly but we all managed to keep our cool.
Check out my pictures to see how people in downtown Daegu stayed stylish in the autumn (fall) sun.

Hi guys! I'm back again with an outfit post. I took a short break for Chuseok (추석), my mum came to visit me.

Just when I thought the weather was cooling down in Daegu the atmosphere suddenly sweltered this week.

After my friend and I had a mini photo shoot, a street style photographer asked me for some pictures. The first 4 pictures are by JaeHoon Jeong, check out his website! (http://bit.ly/1pcPChE)

I'm working on a little project for my YouTube channel, stay tuned for more!

This was my first time taking pictures in Daegu after coming back from Tokyo. It was a slow start and the first person I asked said "no", but the more I scoured the streets and the more confidently I approached people the more pictures I got.
Daegu's trendy residents seemed more relaxed today and that was evident in their outfit choices. No matter how relaxed the outfit was there was always a statement piece pulling it together and making it stand out. From died hair, to statement clutch bags and a statement skirt, everyone had something that pulled their outfit together.
