OOTD - Flowers and Bananas

1
It's been a long while since my last outfit post so here's another!
I raced to downtown Daegu after church to get my picture taken by JaeHoon Jeong for a street style comptetition he's entering and he was kind enough to send me the pictures afterwards.

Check them out and let me know what you think! Which one is your favourite?

Hi guys! I'm back again with an outfit post. I took a short break for Chuseok (추석), my mum came to visit me.

Just when I thought the weather was cooling down in Daegu the atmosphere suddenly sweltered this week.

After my friend and I had a mini photo shoot, a street style photographer asked me for some pictures. The first 4 pictures are by JaeHoon Jeong, check out his website! (http://bit.ly/1pcPChE)

I'm working on a little project for my YouTube channel, stay tuned for more!

Last month I had the privilege of going down to the beautiful city of Busan and meeting the photographer behind the amazing street style blog Echeveau. I got to take some awesome pictures and even got my picture taken. Take a look at the pictures he took of me, what do you think? :)

OOTD - The Monochrome Look (2)

Hey people! I have another monochrome look for you! I promise the next one shall have some other colour involved haha.

Last time I was in Seoul I ended up at a rooftop party in Myeongdong, it was pretty good but we turned up way too early! Plus I had to leave early as I had to catch the train back to Daegu. However in the short space of time I was there I managed to take a few street style snaps, talk to some amazing people and get these pictures taken by my lovely friend Jina.

Take a look!

P.S. make sure you watch her latest YouTube video, a certain someone got featured in it ;)

I don't know why but all I seem to wear lately is black and/or white. Don't get me wrong I have a plethora of colours in my wardrobe (mostly in my wardrobe back in London) but I just can't seem to stop wearing these two colours on most days. Even as I write this I'm wearing a mandarin collared Thai silk shirt and Topshop Leigh jeans - all black - I just can't seem to help myself!

Tortes in Daegu

0
Tucked away on one of the backstreets of downtown Daegu is Die Torte, a dessert cafe with an incredibly laid back atmosphere. Dishing out delectable tortes and warming drinks Die Torte serves desserts that are literally to die for, they make a mean Oreo torte which goes great with their Green Tea.

Our desserts were served on simple China plates accompanied by chocolate decorations emphasising the already aesthetically pleasing dish. The fact that they put your's and you friend's desserts on the same plate encourages sharing, something that is really big in Korean culture.

We sat outside in the courtyard of this lovely cafe until the sun set and treated ourselves desserts ranging from strawberry to cookie tortes. What I loved about this place was that when the sun went down they brought out a projector and started playing Harry Potter on the screen in the courtyard. Just because the sun had set it didn't mean we had to go inside, we could still chill out and talk, especially since the weather is so much warmer these days.

If you are looking for a place to chill out in Daegu I would definitely suggest hitting up Die Torte for some tasty dessert and stimulating conversation with your friends.

They have great service and a lovely selection of desserts

Lunch at the palace - OOTD

Outside Gyeongbokgung palace, next to the outer building were some cherry blossom trees. That made for the perfect backdrop to an impromptu photo shoot.

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

OOTD - YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US

So I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Norwich…when I say spur of the moment I mean literally last minute. I realised that that was the only time I'd be able to go before I head off to Korea (blogpost to come) so naturally I thought "what the heck, why not?!"

I ended up seeing one of my oldest friend's from uni and ex-housemate Adoraaaaaa…cue both of us running into each other's arms like a scene from a cheesy rom-com, followed by jesting, laughter and of course the mini photo shoot below!

I got to see a couple more friends but sadly not everyone as my decision to go up to Norwich was that last minute (haha).

Everything but the bags and Doc Martens are thrifted (we have problems)…okay wait the coat is my mum's but that doesn't matter (humour me people)
