OOTD - The Monochrome Look (1)

0
I don't know why but all I seem to wear lately is black and/or white. Don't get me wrong I have a plethora of colours in my wardrobe (mostly in my wardrobe back in London) but I just can't seem to stop wearing these two colours on most days. Even as I write this I'm wearing a mandarin collared Thai silk shirt and Topshop Leigh jeans - all black - I just can't seem to help myself!

Street Style - Busan

I had the pleasure of heading down to Busan for a 3 day weekend where I met a fellow photographer Kim JaeHyun of the awesome street style blog Echeveau.  I was very fortunate as he showed me one of the places he goes to to take pictures and in the couple of hours I was with him I managed to get some good pictures!

Check them out!

How To: Tighten an Elastic Waistband in 5 Easy Steps

2
This is the lazy girl's guide to tightening the elastic on that loose skirt! It's also a guide for those, who, like me cannot sew very well. Guys, I'm rubbish at sewing but I wanted to tighten the skirt regardless haha.

Read on for the How To!

I recently made an online purchase at Choies clothing and amongst the things I ordered was a high waisted "leather" midi skirt, I'd been looking for one for a while.

So imagine my delight when I stumbled across this skirt on Choies, I happily ordered it and was grossly disappointed when it finally came. I'd, as I discovered when I tried it on, overestimated the size of my waist (it looks like I've lost an inch since coming to Korea).

Here I was with a skirt that was too big and I didn't want to return it (returning things online is too much hassle for me, plus it's never worked out very well for me when I have tried), I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Street Style - The Peeping Tom Returns to Daegu

As usual I spent the weekend roaming around Daegu, here are some of the good looking people I convinced to let me take pictures of them. Check it out!

Street Style - Jeonju and Daegu, South Korea

0
I've been in Korea for about 4 weeks now and I haven't taken many pictures since I've been here (blame that on me settling in and laziness, loool).

I took a few pictures whilst I was in Jeonju for my teaching orientation and when I've visited Daegu city.

Out of all the pictures I've taken the last one is my favourite. This girl walked past me in an underground shopping mall and I was too shy to ask her if I could take her picture, bearing in mind I'd have to ask in Korean. It was nerve racking. She walked out of the shopping centre and I knew I'd missed my chance, 10 minutes later she walked back in and I knew I had to take the chance and ask or I'd be kicking myself for the rest of the night.

I took the risk and she said yes! Major confidence booster :)

Check out my pictures!

Street Style - Daegu, South Korea

0 Hey guys! This is my shoddy way of announcing that I've moved to South Korea! I took some street style pictures whilst shopping in downtown Daegu, the "hottest" city in Korea. I can't wait to make my way to Seoul and take more pictures.

There will be more street style heading your way people, just bear with me, my heart jumps into my throat and I get really nervous when I have to ask people if I can take their picture. Why? Because I have to ask in Korean, my Korean isn't great and of course I'm terrified of rejection haha. Enjoy the pictures!

OOTD - YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US

So I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Norwich…when I say spur of the moment I mean literally last minute. I realised that that was the only time I'd be able to go before I head off to Korea (blogpost to come) so naturally I thought "what the heck, why not?!"

I ended up seeing one of my oldest friend's from uni and ex-housemate Adoraaaaaa…cue both of us running into each other's arms like a scene from a cheesy rom-com, followed by jesting, laughter and of course the mini photo shoot below!

I got to see a couple more friends but sadly not everyone as my decision to go up to Norwich was that last minute (haha).

Everything but the bags and Doc Martens are thrifted (we have problems)…okay wait the coat is my mum's but that doesn't matter (humour me people)
