I love taking pictures in front of this chicken restaurant. There's just something about the juxtaposition between the subject's outfit and the cute chicken in the background that makes me smile.
Everything about this outfit screams "Winter" but in an effortlessly chic way. From the fluffy teddy jacket to the Jordans and that cute pale pink hat. The sunglasses only serve to make this outfit even cooler.

Amidst all the swirling masses of grey and black, she stood out. Walking quietly along the crowed street, the magnitude of her eye popping colour coordination spoke volumes about her before she even said a word, of course I had to have a picture.
The black background only serves to add more life to the neon colours and clashing prints, highlighting the eccentricity and fun of this outfit.
It stood out on that immensely grey day.

Sometimes, simplicity is best. Toned down colour palettes give way to mixed textures and the occasional splash of colour, drawing you further into the outfit, ensuring that you get lost in the web of details spun together for the very purpose of keeping you interested and intrigued.

Everything from the white button up shirt, the drop cross earrings and that bomber jacket screams effortlessly stylish.
The bowl haircut and the glasses bring a sense of quirkiness to the outfit, saving it from being just another "street" outfit, it adds something different to it and makes him stand out more.
The mixing of the cross earrings and the gold chain let the observer know that the subject doesn't care about what society tells you is fashionable, he knows what looks good on him and he knows how to wear it well.

As the weather gets colder, hats are becoming more of a necessity. I love seeing a great hat and this wide brim trilby hat is no exception. The fact that the tartan pattern on the jacket is actually made up of tiny houndstooth patterns adds more detail to the outfit.
The grey scarf adds to the old school appeal of this outfit, making the subject look like a character out of the film noir genre.

In a sea of uniformity and toned down colour palettes, this bold mix of ivory wool and red leather stand out heads and shoulders above the crowd. The mix of textures updates the look and makes it ever so edgy, the addition of the silver accessories and the sunglasses give this subject an effortlessly cool look.
The red lipstick and the awesome nails are the cherry on top of this über cool outfit.

Chic, stylish and great for warmer days, this outfit comes complete with a muted colour palette.
The mix of leather and wool give great contrast to this ensemble, giving it that more 'expensive' look. The pinstriped trousers and nude heels are subtle details that make this outfit stand out at a time when many begin to tone down the colours in their wardrobe.

This outfit is understated, but it stands out regardless of the muted colour palette. The pinstriped trousers and the Adidas Originals serve to make this look casual, cool and well put together outfit.

Everything about this outfit contains some small detail. From the wool clutch bag, to the gingham shirt peaking out underneath the denim jacket, to the Mickey Mouse emblazoned on her cute beanie.
The Nikes paired with the denim on denim look give the outfit a nostalgic feel, which is updated by that awesome clutch bag. It's effortless and well put together!

I'm loving the fall hues in this outfit! The subtle camel skirt, the brown socks and the layered sweaters give a very cute look.
The brown is broken up with the addition of the denim bag and the black Vans, making sure that this outfit isn't boring, but well put together and quite eye catching!

The sharp haircut, the spectacles and the leather sleeved bomber jacket. This gentleman's outfit is put together so swell.
The cutesy image of the white dog peaking through all the black gives the outfit a quirky twist.

The soft and subtle colour of grey and the bold green background really do make this a knockout outfit (or picture if I do say so myself).
The simplicity of the outfit and the sharpness of her haircut come together to give a classy look, with the mock croc clutch bag adding a hint of edge to her outfit.

Everything from the carefully coifed hair to the impeccably laced boots speaks of an outfit that is very well put together.
The contrast between the checked dress shirt and the fluffy gilet is eye catching and the Prada bag finishes off the look ever so nicely.

Simplicity.
That is what I love about this outfit! The contrast between her white sweater, her collared shirt and the purple coat make this ensemble stand out.
The exposed zip on the lapel of the coat gives it more detail, making it a unique piece.
This style of wool jacket is definitely becoming a wardrobe staple in Daegu as the temperature begins to drop!

How do you plan on staying warm and stylish this fall/winter?

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you more layering!
The weather conditions mean I'm going to be putting more focus into how people stay stylish and warm with Autumn(fall)/Winter.

I am absolutely loving what these two are wearing! The girl's black shearling coat is a wonderful contrast to her white oversized sweater, giving a cool monochrome look.
The overall grey palette of her companion is genius! The muted palette serves as a backdrop for him to sneak different patterns and a pop of colour into this outfit.

The colder it gets, the more layers we put on. We dust off our cardigans and heavier duty jackets in an attempt to stay warm as the chill sets in.

This couple nails it effortlessly, bringing different prints and materials into the mix.
They've incorporated the matching couple trend into their outfits in the most understated way, with both wearing wool bomber jackets with leather sleeves.

I especially admire the way the girl mixes it up with the houndstooth print of her jacket and her multicoloured sweater, the Union Jack clutch is the cherry on top of the cake, giving an effortlessly put together outfit.

As the leaves turn yellow and the sweaters come out Daegu's residents are turning up the stakes with layering.

As the temperature drops, more layers are added, giving looks ranging from cute and sassy to more sleek and edgy.

OOTD - Red Sunday (Wednesday Addams inspired outfit)

0
Hi people! Since my street style is running a little late I thought I'd show you what I wore yesterday.
I picked up a vintage dress from Fly To You (a great vintage shop in Daegu), I love it, it reminds me of Wednesday Addams from the Addams family.

I paired this Little Black Dress (LBD) with another vintage find, a red jacket I got from STI CHIC (another store in Daegu) and my Topshop boots, and voila! You have yourself a red Sunday (I was going to name this post Red Wednesday, but I wore this outfit on Sunday and I was born on a Sunday so I thought I'd change it up!)

I love a good LBD simply because of the different ways you can style it! I usually use an LBD as a canvas or backdrop to highlight other things I'm wearing and make them stand out!

Don't forget to hype my look on LookBook!

Scroll down to the end of the post for the reason my Street Style post is late! I have a good reason haha.
